Our Industries
Automotive
Active on the market since our first year. We have been involved in numerous projects in Germany's most important industrial sector and one of the most important worldwide since 2009. We supply plant construction as well as OEMs directly for new projects, integrations or maintenance measures.
Energy
With more than 13 years of experience in the field of industrial labelling, we have not only developed a labelling process that is well-known and recognised in the industry, but also have a broad knowledge of the industry's requirements and their technical implementation.
Engineering
Germany’s mechanical and plant engineering industry ranks third worldwide, accounting for around 11%. Since our founding, we have worked with manufacturers both in Germany and internationally, building strong, long-standing partnerships with service providers, large enterprises, and medium-sized companies, including “hidden champions.”
Chemical / pharmaceutical
The chemical / pharmaceutical industry is the third largest industrial sector after automotive and mechanical engineering. Special requirements arise here in terms of durability, content and compliance with safety standards.
The Process
Design
A total of 11 materials made of metals and plastics can be printed with the PrintoLUX® process.
You can find more information about our material properties in our download area:
Prime and Prepare
All materials are treated with a primer before printing. This promotes the bonding of ink and material during the following thermosetting.
Printing
The flexibility of digital printing gives you extensive possibilities to design the label layout. Design texts, colours, photos, graphics, barcodes and 2D codes (e.g. QR and Datamatrix) according to your personal needs.
Curing
All materials are thermoset after printing. After this step, the label already acquires its full resistance and can be mounted immediately.
The latest generation of PrintoLUX® labelling systems offers a print area of 204 × 291 mm (borderless) and prints on material up to a thickness of max. 7.0 mm.
Thanks to its compact design, the system is ideal for use in offices or workshops where space is at a premium.
With PrintoLUX®, your own short-term labelling needs can be produced just in time. In total, the following 11 materials can be printed with the PrintoLUX® process:
Aluminium, silver (AE), Aluminium, white (ASE), Stainless steel (VE), Brass (ME), Aluminium composite material (AV), Polyamide (PA), Polyester decorative foil (PD), Polyester adhesive foil (PK), Polyester foil (PY), Laminate material (SP), Document adhesive foil (DK)
